About Heath & Blackshaw

Heath & Blackshaw started life as a traditional high street insurance broker in Congleton, Cheshire back in 1882 and built up a loyal customer base over many years.

Heath & Blackshaw were then incorporated into the County Insurance Group in 2003 but still operate as a stand-alone brand - renewing existing customers and attracting new custom through many recommendations.

We have 2 offices in the North West of England and employ 70 staff. All of our staff are well trained (with many Cert CII qualified) and experienced. By investing in our team, this means that they are better equipped to advise our customers on the right policy rather than simply the cheapest.

Although Heath & Blackshaw started life as a local high street insurance broker, we now insure thousands of people nationally via the telephone and internet. The key difference being is that we have retained our heritage of providing first class customer service. In today's society, we simply offer our customers the choice in contacting us - internet or telephone is the most common, but we still have plenty of customers walk into our offices to renew their insurance policies every day!
